Corporate Tree Planting Program

put down roots in your community and grow your team’s impact

Bring your team together for meaningful environmental action through reThink Green’s Corporate Tree Planting Program.

Who can participate?

Designed for teams, businesses, and organizations, this program connects corporate funding and employee volunteers with tree planting opportunities at community sites across Greater Sudbury and beyond.

Your contribution helps restore local green spaces, increase native tree cover, and support healthier, more resilient communities. Employees can join community volunteers for hands-on planting and environmental education, while building connections with each other and the places where they live and work. Your team, business, or organization will also receive recognition for your contributions through reThink Green’s website and media platforms.

How it works

Your organization funds a planting project, and reThink Green coordinates planning and delivery with local stewardship experts and community partners. Together, we identify suitable sites, select native tree and shrub species appropriate to local conditions, organize planting activities, and plan follow-up stewardship.

Sites are chosen for their ecological restoration potential and community benefit, with consideration for neighbourhoods that have less access to green space. No planting experience is required, and volunteer roles can accommodate different abilities and comfort levels.
